Regular Clubs

YMCA Fairthorne Manor is always happy to welcome people from the local community onto our site to enjoy our facilities. We have a range of regular clubs in order to achieve this.

Dads n Lads

This football club runs once a week and is an ideal opportunity for some father and son bonding whilst keeping fit and having fun! Sessions run throughout the year either on our outdoor pitch or in the Sports Hall. Why not come along and have a go? It runs every Wednesday evening from 1830 - 2000 at a cost of £1 per person.

Paddles Up

Come along once a week between 24 April and 25 September to have a go at canoeing and kayaking on our lake. Paddles Up is an ideal chance for water enthusiasts to develop skills and build confidence. It runs every Thursday evening from 1800 - 1930 at a cost of £3 per person, all equipment provided.

Paddle Sport Courses

Running 3 times throughout the year this course is made up of 7 sessions. It utilises both our lake and access to the River Hamble to provide an introduction to and a development of Paddle Sports. Each course will progress at a rate suitable to the needs of the group and will work towards nationally recognised awards in both canoeing and kayaking. Click here for more detailed informaton.

Nature Club

Once a month, children aged 8 - 12 are invited to come along to Nature Club. Explore our stunning 111 acre site with its parkland, woodland and streams, learning about the plants and animals that call it home. Return home rosy cheeked and full of tales of new things discovered, having made firm friends with fellow eco adventurers! Click here for more information.

Toddler Group

Our relaxed and friendly Toddler Group is aimed at children under 5 with a parent, guardian or carer. The group is run by the nursery and aims to spend as much time as possible outside enjoying the site, with sessions booked on Bouncy Castles and even an annual boat trip. Other activities include creative play and singing, and of course there is coffee and biscuits for the adults! Runs from 24 April - November on Thursdays 1000 - 1130 during term time at a cost of £2 per family.
