HYPE – Hamble Young People’s Experience
The HYPE, located opposite Hamble Community Sports College, offers a range of activities for young people who live in the Hamble, Bursledon and Hound area. The HYPE is open all year round for a variety of free drop in youth sessions and information, advice and guidance from professionals on specific issues such as sexual and mental health.
Referrals for specific programmes can be made by teachers and other professioals working with young people. Young people can also refer themselves to these programmes or drop in for youth work sessions.

Health drop-in- (TADIC) http://teenagedrop-inhedgeend.co.uk/ 2:30pm to 4:00pm (Term Time only)
Young people can drop in for confidential advice and guidance on a range of physical and mental health issues from qualified nurses. Youth workers are also on site to discuss any issues.
Job club –4:00pm to 6:00pm
A place to search local papers and job sites with the help of our staff. We can even help with CV writing and preparing for job interviews.
13-18 Youth Club-6:00pm to 9:00pm
13-18 year olds can drop in for a range of sports, games and other activities or for the chance to chill out, catch up with friends or to speak to a Youth Worker about anything that is going on in their lives.
Outreach Street based youth work in Hamble, Hound- 6:00pm to 9:00pm term times, times may vary in school holidays
Youth Workers take activities to the places where young people hang out and offer support to young people who can’t or choose not to access a youth centre.
After school youth club-3:00pm to 6:00pm
13-18 Youth club-6:00pm to 9:00pm
NGS- Next Generation for Socialisation-6:00pm to 9:00pm
Specialist group for young people with autism. Attendance by referral only
