Visiting Schools and Groups

During the year, numerous special schools bring groups to Fairthorne Manor, as well as mainstream schools with an inclusive approach, which is a trend in education that we are both reflecting and supporting.

The centre is also visited by a number of community organisations including several diabetic associations helping children to learn to control their own insulin intake, children from the British Kidney Patients Association, and SSAFA camps for children with disabilities, with a separate week for their siblings.
