YMCA Fairthorne Group has taken action ahead of the very heavy snow fall that has been forecast by the Met office during the next 48 hours.

• Fairthorne Manor will have staff on site clearing the driveway's and directing traffic from 0700 on Wednesday 6 January.
  
  
• Nursery staff will be able to offer advice to parents at all nurseries (weather permitting), please telephone your nursery directly for specific information www.ymca-fg.org/nurseries. If the weather is as bad as predicted please call prior to setting out to ensure the nursery is open. We are doing all we can as an organisation to ensure that our provisions remain open and safe.
  
  
• Fairthorne Manor nursery will be contactable from 0700 on 6 January by calling 01489 772222.
  
  
• The road at the end of the Fairthorne Manor driveway is extremely icy, due to a burst water main. Please take extreme care when entering the site. Salt has already been laid and further gritting will take place during the next 24hrs.
