60th Anniversary monument!

2007 sees the 60th anniversary of YMCA at Fairthorne Manor, which has been celebrated at various events throughout the year.

To mark this momentous occasion YMCA Fairthorne Manor has constructed a cairn in front of the Manor and buried a Time Capsule at the last Family Fun Day in November.

The Time Capsule contains pictures of the 2007 staff team at Fairthorne Manor, a range of current brochures and flyers and pictures drawn by the Nursery children. Mike Tilbury, President of the Board of Trustees helped 3 of the Nursery children bury the Time Capsule. It is intended that it will be opened up in 40 years time at our Centenary celebrations in 2047.
