Young Carers Volunteers

YCF is the biggest international gathering of young carers from all over the world, and in particular the UK. This is the 9th festival and each year it has gone from strength to strength both in the opportunities it provides for the young people and in numbers!

This year we are expecting over 1600 young carers to descend on us over the last weekend in June (27th June to 29th June). The weekend is an opportunity for fun, consultation and to meet like minded people.

The festival is organised by us and The Children’s Society, both of whom have been key to the festivals success from the very start. The profile of the festival has increased over the years.

In order to organise an event of this magnitude we rely on a large team of volunteers before, during and after the festival.

This team contributes to all areas of the festival from the key roles of waste technicians and night wardens through to workshop co-ordinators. What ever your interest we have a wide range of volunteering opportunities available on the weekend. See the attached sheet for job role and descriptions

If this is something you feel you can contribute to, or you know a team of people who would bring a little extra to the festival please fill in the short application, click here to down load.
