Portsmouth Daycamps
A popular and fun Daycamp for 4 - 14 year olds takes place every school holiday at St Luke's Community Sports Centre in Portsmouth.
School Holiday Activities
Activities typically include:
- sports
- arts and crafts
- drama
- adventure games
- team-building challenges
- and lots more!
Swimming and other sporting activities are sometimes offered by leisure centre staff as well as swimming at no additional cost.
Trips out and about to local museums and parks are often on the itinerary as are talks from organisations such as the Fire Brigade or the Police!
Choice for Children
At each Daycamp, children are given the choice of which activities they would like to do. The programme for each Daycamp is published in advance on this page of our website.

We also offer Independent Daycamps for children from Portsmouth Grammar School at various times of year depending on the school calendar.
Childcare Prices
Portsmouth Daycamps run from 8.15am - 6pm Monday to Friday during school holidays and cost £19 per day.
Daycamp Dates
YMCA Portsmouth will be running Daycamps over the summer holidays at St Luke's Sports Centre in Portsmouth from Monday 19 July - Friday 3 September 2010 (monday - friday).
*Daycamps run from 8.15am - 6pm during all school holidays
**Additional Daycamps run from the Junior School Hall at Portsmouth Grammar School. These sessions are available to PGS pupils only.
