Regular Clubs

Fancy paddling a kayak around the water? Maybe sailing is more your thing, or perhaps you would enjoy a happy variety of activities? Whatever takes your fancy, Fairthorne Manor has a club to suit you and your family and to help you spend some time together participating in fun, healthy activities.

Paddles Up

Children at Daycamps often tell us that Kayaking is one of their favourite activities. Paddles Up is a popular club for all those kayaking fans, enabling families to enjoy kayaking together.

  • Every Thursday between 3rd May to 4th October 2012 from 1800-1930
  • Kayaking on the lake
  • All abilities welcome
  • No experience necessary, fully qualified instructors available for advice and water safety
  • Develop paddle skills & build confidence
  • Play games

The whole family is welcome at Paddles Up. Sessions cost £5 per person per session and there is no need to book in advance.

Paddle Power Courses

In 2012, our Paddle Power courses are available for children (7+ years) and families of all abilities to develop their kayaking and canoeing skills in a safe and more structured environment.   Over a series of sessions, paddlers can work towards nationally recognised qaulifications or simply increase their water confidence on our lake and the River Hamble.  Dates and prices for 2012 will be confirmed shortly.

Family Club

We're sure that many parents can appreciate how difficult it is to find fun, low cost, healthy activities to enjoy together as a family. At Fairthorne Manor, we have a monthly Family Club that offers all this and more in beautiful surroundings throughout the year.

Family Club offers:

  •   Regular monthly activity days at Fairthorne Manor
  •   Trying out new activities
  •   All equipment provided
  •   Meeting other like minded families
  •   Socialise in our clubhouse
  •   Booking flexibility

For 2012, we are now offering more flexible booking options where you can attend as many or as few sessions as you want. The more sessions booked the greater the value. At just per £25 per family per day (or £80 for 4 days) it represents excellent value for a family day out with a difference.

Families and children (8 years+) will follow a well-planned programme that is adapted to suit individual needs, with our friendly and experienced instructors helping families work towards RYA qualifications.  Dates and prices for 2012 available shortly.
