Run during Easter, Summer and Whitsun, Residential Camps provide a perfect opportunity for children aged 8 - 16 to have fun and adventure in a safe and caring environment.

What's Included?
Fairthorne Manor has designed a range of themed camps. Each has a unique twist but they all include;
- Full programme of activities during the day
- Accommodation (indoor at Easter, camping at Whitsun and Summer)
- Healthy, balanced, home cooked meals
- Fully qualified, conscientious staff available 24 hours a day
- Evening activities
We'll make sure your child spends their time at Fairthorne Manor learning new skills, building friendships, developing self confidence and of course, having fun!
Choice of Camps
5 night camps run from Sunday to Friday.
We also offer Big Weekends which are two night camps running from Friday to Sunday. These can act as a ‘taster mini-camp' or be used to extend one of the standard camps!
Peace of Mind
We realise that you are entrusting us with your most treasured possession when your child attends one of our residential camps. For many children attending it is their first holiday away from home and it is perfectly natural for both parents and children to be anxious. We hope the information contained here will help to reassure you, but if you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us .
Staff
All Staff, whether recruited in the UK or internationally, are selected for their patience, understanding and conscientious approach to caring for children and young people. All staff working on the Fairthorne Manor estate are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau and all references have been taken up to ensure their suitability for our centre.
Our staff strive to be excellent role models for all children attending camp. They aim to enhance time spent at Fairthorne with their enthusiasm, commitment and passion for fun.
Accommodation
During the Easter holidays, children sleep in bunk-bedded, dormitories. During Whitsun and Summer they sleep under canvas in one of our tent villages. Camping is in large 6 - 8 person frame tents, which have wooden floors. Campers are provided with a roll mat and a pillow but will need to bring a pillow slip.

Camp leaders sleep in tents adjacent to the children's and are available throughout the night to offer assistance if needed

There is no need to book, just turn up on the day!
Thursday Night Event
During the five week Summer holiday, Fairthorne Manor hosts a laughter filled campfire event. Starting at 7pm, all parents are welcome to come along free of charge to experience some of the Fairthorne magic for themselves. Enjoy a fantastic display of sketches and performances put on by the children with the stunning Manor grounds as the perfect backdrop.
