YMCA Fairthorne Group runs two sites for school and youth group visits. Each has its own unique qualities. A number of our regular visitors use both sites at different times of the year, each for a different age group.
Fairthorne Manor
Fairthorne Manor is set in a stunning 111 acre site in Curdridge, near to Southampton. This fantastic outdoor adventure site offers a range of outdoor adventure activities from abseiling to kayaking and aerial runway to raft building.
There is year round indoor accommodation available for up to 172 people and seasonal tented accommodation for up to 230.
Fairthorne Manor caters for both day and residential visits.
Winchester House
Winchester House is a beautiful Victorian building in Shanklin, Isle of Wight, set upon the cliff top over looking the sandy shores of Hope Bay.
The house provides secure accommodation for groups of 10 - 123 with a range of catering options available.
The location provides the perfect base from which to explore the varied sites and activities on the Isle of Wight. There are also a number of on site activities to make use of during your stay.
