Fundraise Your Way

Images of young people engaging in activities

Your fundraising donations will help to provide accommodation for a young person without a safe place to stay, food parcels for families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis, a warm and welcoming place for someone to go who is isolated or vulnerable, or a place to live for a young mum.

Family, community or on your own...

If you would like to find out more about fundraising with YMCA Fairthorne Group, contact [email protected].
With Just Giving it’s simple to set up your own fundraising page. From here you can accept donations, share with friends and family and provide updates on your activities.
Yes, this is simple to set up through Just Giving. Feel free to get in touch with us if you get stuck.
Absolutely! You can raise funds for appeals like Let us Play simply by stating your intention on your fundraising page or by informing us when paying in your donations. If you would like to raise funds for a specific YMCA project or service other than an active appeal, this may also be possible but please get in contact with us first. This is so we can ensure your funds won’t duplicate existing funding.
100% of the funds we receive will go towards our community services for children, young people, families and communities across Hampshire and Isle of Wight, and are allocated to YMCA FG activities where funds are most needed. Depending on how you choose to give, some small deductions may be made to donations by third party providers to cover the cost of their platforms and/or card processing fees. You can find out more through checking with each provider’s T&Cs.
In theory, the only limit is your own imagination! Be aware though that for some activities such as raffles, lotteries and bucket collections may have certain restrictions and require licenses. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
Contact us for a fundraising pack for some ideas on how you can get the word out about your fundraiser by emailing [email protected]. If the fundraising you’re planning is on a large scale or particularly unique, you might also want to see if you can gain some press interest. We can provide you with a press release template.
Contact [email protected] for a logo. We kindly request that any materials that you produce makes it clear that you are fundraising in aid of YMCA, rather than on behalf of.
