Youth ProjectsYouth projects run by our skilled and experienced youth workers often take place in areas where there are few facilities for young people. Our converted double decker bus serves as a mobile youth club for communities across South East Hampshire. The youth projects offer a drop-in youth club facility where young people can go with their mates to hang out, and where there will also be opportunities to take part in discussions on issues relating their community, and on health and social issues. Fun activities, sports and games are also on offer. Trips to Fairthorne Manor can be organised for a group of young people attending a youth project. Youth projects are currently being run for young people in the following areas:
For young people participating in these projects there may also be opportunities to take part in other aspects of youth work offered by YMCA Fairthorne Group such as Millennium Volunteers. If you are an agency or organisation, and would like to commission a youth project in your area, contact us. Oasis Drop InEvery Tuesday in term time, we run a free drop in session at the Oasis Centre from 1500-1700 for those children in school years 9-11. Activities available include pool, table football, computer games, art and craft and tuck shop, so why not come along and join in the fun.
