School holiday Daycamps have been a source of fantastic memories for thousands of local children for over 40 years.
Our stunning 111 acre site beside the Hamble River offers fantastic outdoor adventures for 4 -16 year olds, as they build friendships, confidence and a host of new skills on a variety of camp options.
Daycamps are offered from 9.00am-4.00pm, with the option of extending the fun with Big Day from 7.45am-6.00pm. See below for more information.
Our Summer Daycamps are running for 9 weeks this summer from Monday 9th July – Friday 7th September.
All daycamps can be booked by the day except during the 4 main weeks of the Summer (Summer weeks 1 – 4) where all children going into school years 3 and above will need to book the week. For the younger children going into school years R -2 they can book the whole week or 3 days (Monday – Wednesday), 2 days (Thursday – Friday)
We are also running Residential Camps this summer where the children can enjoy all the fun of Daycamps plus stay with us in our tented accommodation overnight. Discover more on our Residential Camp page.
Our signature Daycamp offered every week during the summer, for children in years R-11. Children can enjoy age appropriate adventures as we divide them into 4 separate age groups: Holiday Club (R-2), Activity
Club (Y3-6), Adventure Club (Y7-9) and Club 14-16 (Y10-11).
Availability update: Good Availability on Summer Weeks 1 – 4. Limited space left on Additional Weeks 1 – 3.
Offered during weeks 2, 4 and 5 of the Summer holidays, children in years 4-9 make full use of our enclosed lake and River Hamble access as they experience new adventures on and in the water. Activities can include kayaking, raft building, stand up paddleboarding and much more.

Offered during weeks 1 to 5 of the summer holidays for children going into years 4-9. Children will learn how to survive in the wild as they builds dens, light and cook over a fire, track animals and learn camouflage techniques.
Musical Theatre Camp – The Lion King
Offered on summer weeks 2 and 4 for children going into school years 4-9. Children enjoy a week of performing arts as they learn and choreograph moves to put into practice for the end of week show! This years theme is the Lion King
Turn Nature into Art Camp
Offered on summer week 1 only, Nature Camp offers children a fantastic combination of exploring the site, collecting natural materials and creating stunning masterpieces with our experienced artist.
Big Day & Packed Lunches
We’ll take care of the food and some extended play if you’re busy. Big Day extends the fun from 7.45am-6.00pm including breakfast & tea, with the option to add a packed lunch too. Find out more below.
During summer weeks 1 – 4 we offer private coach travel with Lucketts with on-board YMCA staff to transport children each day from 8 routes across the county.
Sleepover £20 Weeks 1-5 only
Children in years 3-11 can stay with us and enjoy a night with new friends, evening activities, dinner, breakfast & lunch the next day. Staying in YMCA tents. Yrs 7-11 Wednesday night, Yrs 3-6 Thursday night.
