Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Queen Street, your child will experience a caring and nurturing environment with a staff team who are dedicated to their learning and development.
The nursery is purpose-built with two dedicated enclosed gardens. Your child will access a wide range of activities with our exceptional staff team. The nursery fully embraces active and outdoor play with each day bringing a new adventure.
All of our meals are prepared fresh daily so we can ensure your child enjoys healthy, tasty and nutritious meals.
Babies (0 – 2 years)
Our experienced team create a safe and nurturing ‘home from home’ for your child, establishing strong bonds with baby and you.
We work closely with you to understand your child’s interests and emerging personality, and help with big steps such as weaning and walking.
New experiences are introduced as your child develops, such as treasure baskets, controlled climbing and heuristic play.
Your child will have daily opportunities to get messy, be physically active and express their creativity and development. A cosy sleep space as well as outdoor sleeping in warm weather ensures a relaxing nap time.
Children also have access to the garden with plenty of resources and shelter.
Toddlers (2 – 3 years)
Your child will want lots of opportunities to be physically active and to build on their growing confidence and independence. They will learn about their environment through play, discovering how fast they can move, how to co-ordinate and developing their imagination.
Our welcoming indoor space provides opportunities for children to thrive and develop as well as gain further independence. The garden area allows for children to refine their gross motor skills and develop their fine motor skills even further from larger climbing equipment to digging in the large mud kitchen.
Throughout their time in the toddler room, your child will have new experiences every day, getting very involved in messy activities and being both active and social with our wide variety of role-play opportunities. In the garden, they’ll discover about nature and play in our willow den.
Pre-school (3 -5 years)
Children take that next step into independence and resilience, taking ownership of their space. They will learn new things and revisit their previous experiences to aid their development.
Our large, stimulating indoor space coupled with a playground and large garden will ensure your child benefits from a mixture of child initiated and adult led activities that enhance their learning and help them achieve their next steps.
As your child grows, they will have daily opportunities to develop confidence, independence, and social skills, spending much of their time outdoors. In the playground, they’ll climb, run, balance, jump, splash, mark make, explore books, and make dens. In the large garden, they’ll learn to discover new things, problem solve, take risks, share ideas, develop their language and have imaginative adventures.
Your child is entitled to 15 hours of free childcare per week from the term after their 3rd birthday.
If you are in work, you could be entitled to an additional 15 hours of free childcare. To find out if you are eligible for the additional 15 hours please visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
