YMCA Fairthorne Manor Nursery is opening its doors to new children after a major refurbishment and expansion. Due to high demand the nursery has expanded to care for 129 children and has invested in fantastic new facilities, including increased areas for outdoor play. This work follows the 2012 Ofsted inspection in which Fairthorne Manor Nursery and Daycamps was once again awarded an Outstanding rating. Read our news article for more details.
Keep your child entertained during every school holiday at one of our fantastic Daycamp schemes at Fairthorne Manor (Botley), Southampton East, Portsmouth and Shanklin (IOW). You can use childcare vouchers to pay for your booking, all schemes are Ofsted registered and can be booked by the day. Remember to book online and save 5%!
Paddles Up Kayaking is the perfect opportunity for adults and children to try something new or build existing skills on our beautiful lake. The sessions run every Thursday during the Summer between 6-7.30pm. Our qualified instructors will cover water safety and offer a few tips, for you to make the most of this fun activity on the water. At just £5pp come and give it a go!

The YMCA offers residential and day visits with outdoor activities at Fairthorne Manor, near Southampton, and at Winchester House, in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Families can join in the Faithorne fun at our Family Park & Campsite which is now open for day or camp visits. Enjoy our fantastic activities as well as new facilities including toilet and shower block, cafe, bar, and campfire areas. The Family Park is also the base for our successful Parent & Toddler Experience, Forest School Club and Family Club.
Does your child want some excitement on a Saturday? We have extended our renowned Daycamp programme to include Saturday’s at both Portsmouth and Fairthorne Manor, near Botley. The Portsmouth programme is already under way with half and full day options available for 4-14 year olds, with the Fairthorne Manor programme coming on stream from 1st June 2013 for 8-16 year olds.
